I think I’d like to join a heavenly choir and sing praises to God 🎶 😇

After reuniting with as many relatives possible, and I mean possible, I’d love to get acquainted with all the saints I’ve admired, that would be heaven 😊

(This is a lighthearted view naturally.)

I would like to be able to walk, eat good food, and live like I was in a convent praising Him with a beautiful voice. In other words, the things I can not do here on earth.

After meeting Jesus, God, family and friends and finding out what my job is (I reckon we will have to do some work), I would like to travel without getting blisters or getting tired. I would like a protective bubble and be able to change size, so I could go and look at the wonders of God’s creation close up e.g. seeing all the underwater creatures without being attacked or eaten.

Live like Grizzly Adams and do a lot of traditional woodworking.
Laugh and share play guitar and sing… drawing and painting and one heck of a garden with an orchard an nut trees…and plenty of critters…and never getting tired, hurt or sad…visiting all the people and souls and sharing love…just basking in His Glory in a new earth…

Well, actually that is just my fantasy for how I wish life were…

That’s a good one!

Along those lines, I sometimes think about my ‘mansion’ in Heaven and hope there’s no housework involved. 🙃 🥴

No idea as some things I enjoy (not sinful things) I won’t be able to do there.

What on earth will we do all day, every day?

Be there. Try understanding the Trinity. Write a book. Maybe ride a dinosaur.

To be honest, a part of me suspects we’ll be naked and “homeless” in Heaven. Here’s my reasoning.

In Genesis, it talks about how Adam and Eve wore clothing after they sinned out of shame. And before sinning, they would’ve looked at each other’s naked selves without lust. I also think of when Jesus said to look at the birds and how wonderfully the Father clothes them and that we are worth more than birds. So in that sense, I suspect physical nakedness.

As for why I wrote “homeless” I recall a reflection a priest brought up that someone had made about poverty and how it’s the gift of realizing how wholly dependent on God you are. And that tied in again with Adam and Eve and how without clothing, without shelter, they could have joy in their poverty. Hence my thoughts on why we’d be “homeless.”

I hope we never stop learning, as much as I would love to see family, which I’m not sure many of them will make it. I’ll be with my heavenly family! Be able to talk philsophy with the saints, listen to Jesus’ parables, praise my heavenly father, these are the things I hope we can do in heaven!

Ask Jesus what he wrote in the sand when Mary Magdalene was about to be stoned. Peace be with you
