Several years ago, I had a neighbor who was thirty years old, had a wife, a boy of 2 and a girl of 4. He read pornography. When I caught him with a magazine, I would ask him what the pictures meant to him. In other words, what was the motivation and attraction to him. He answered that the pictures were merely art, and had no harmful effects and constituted no harmful content. Two years later, his wife filed for divorce. She stated that he always treated her in a sexually downgrading manner. It does seem that the pictures did make an impression on him and had a harmful effect.
I would like to ask the forum members a question. I ask this question as a followup to a prior posting of mine which has caused some discussion. I use a new posting to encourage the same, and other, members to reply.
When I see a statue, picture, impression, or image of an animal with a ferocious face, fangs, horns, wings and claws, I see “rebellion, hostility, attack and violence”. What would you see?
