You tell me you want a military dictatorship with no foreign contacts other than China and the Dutch (only in Nagasaki), Christians hunted down like rats, and the military class given absolute life and death power–the Right to Cut Down, I believe it was called–over any non-samurai?

I made the Edo period comparison to show just how insane the extreme anti-immigration opinions can get. There’s a name for that extreme isolationist ideology, and it’s Sonno Joi, loyalist exclusionism. It motivated the Choshuu terrorists to try and burn down Kyoto and kidnap the emperor.

Whom. And it cannot be denied the Mexicans lived in the West and Southwest centuries before Americans came West. There are Mexican families in Tucson and New Mexico whose lands were gifted by the Spanish crown shortly after Cortez.

Incidentally, Kennewick man’s a Caucasianoid body found somewhere-or-other, right? Well, a) having Caucasian bones proves nothing; there are Semitic mummies, 12000 years old, in Peru. and b) one dead Caucasian does not a case of prior possession make. The people living on this continent when the first Europeans came were Indian, or do you intend to rewrite history like the Nazi ethnologists?

Yeah, well, here’s a secret: outside archaeologists, Aztlan’s only used by extreme Aztec-nationalist racists. You Google “Master Race” you’ll get a bunch of neo-Nazis, too.

And finally, as you’d know if you ever watched Mexican television, a large number of Mexicans are white, or at least partly white.

  1. Acutally the “non sequitor” is to believe that Osama is not pleased that we are experiencing problems over 9/11.
2.Not everyone is an “immigrant”. Many are “migrants”. They populated previously unpopulated areas. That was the case in North America and WE were the invaders.

  2. Lol! “Kennewick man” is but 9200 years old. The last Ice Age predates that conservatively by about 10,000 years.
  3. This is the same song and dance against prior waves of immigration. Their situation is the same as has always been. You’re dealing in half truths. What’s different is that we’ve made certain immigration “illegal” in the past 50 years. And, it’s no surprise as to who these laws are directed against.
  4. We need accurate quotas so that meet our labor needs. We should adjust the quotas up or down according to our labor needs. For the near future, as long as our birth rate continues to decline due to contraception, abortion, small family size and our longevity increases, we may well need even more immigration to sustain our infrastructure. This is a global problem.
  5. “Growth” and “Wealth” are exactly the point. Our economy has grown and created more wealth due to our immigrants. Previous immigrants have assimilated and I can find no proof that shows that our current wave of immigrants will not follow suit. Your argument is an old one used agains previous immigrants which have proven to be false and I can not see any reason why your claims are not also false regarding our current immigrants. All indications are that by the 3rd generation the immigrant is fully assimiliated.
Your rationale all seems to be based upon the “law”. The law simply has to be revamped to run more effectively and efficiently allow for the screening of future immigrants to meet our needs.

Illegal immigrants have no incentive to assimilate whatsoever. Mexifornia and environs are going to turn into a Hispanic Quebec.

Yes, yes, sure. Drop the borders. Revoke all the laws. Disband the border patrol. Invite the world to come to America. Free healthcare and welfare for all! Actually, better yet, don’t even bother coming to America - we’ll just wire you the money and save you the trip.

Over here in Lubbock,Tx oh my Gosh man. Randy Nagebauer is calling us hispanics terrorists, criminals and even them mexicans. He did campaigns for us hispanics and then he wants to turn around and call us terrorists that hateful childish punk. Us hispanics are what make Lubbock. If he don’t like it then he can get the heck out thats the way i see it. As for the rest of the government they just need to toleave them alone and let them mexicans be. they come here to work and start a familya dn a fresh sater but do they see it that way no. Just let them mexicans be they aren’t doing anything wron. thats the way I feel about it.
