What, you don't believe Moses was Christian?

If you mean did he know during his lifetime, was Moses Christian, than no, Christ had not yet been born.

If you mean, did Moses trust in God’s promise to send the Messiah, than yes, Moses was Christian as Moses believed in God’s promise.

I don’t mean anything by it, it wasn’t my statement, it was the statement of a poster in the thread I linked to, like I said I never heard anyone express this before, maybe the poster who said it will explain?

The parting of the Red Sea and the Israelites going through the water and being delivered from their oppressors into the promised land is a pre-figurement of the Christian baptism.

I didn’t mean to suggest that you meant this. I am curious as to why people think that those who have not heard of Jesus (either because they were born before Christ or because they have not hear the Gospel – which is different from knowing the name of Jesus as a noun).

The CC teaches that those who have never heard of Jesus are eligible to enter Heaven. I wish other churches taught the same.

Who said they didn’t hear the Gospel? First at the Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah conversed with Jesus. And next after the death of Christ on the cross, he rescued the Patriarchs of Israel from Hades, preached the Gospel to them, and led them to heaven.

During his earthly life, Moses was not a Christian in any meaningful sense of the word. After Christ descended into hell (specifically, the Limbo of the Fathers) and preached the Gospel to the souls of the just, they became Christians and were led into heaven by Our Lord. It is therefore reasonable to say that anyone who is in heaven is necessarily a Christian, whether or not they were Christians during their earthly lives. If an Eastern Orthodox, Proestant, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc. dies while in invincible ignorance of the One True Faith and has water baptism, or at least the implicit desire for it, s / he can attain eternal life through spiritual membership in the Catholic Church - but s / he will definitely not remain a member of a false religion or have any false beliefs in heaven. Therefore only Catholic Christians are in heaven.

A poster here said this in the "Church to Which the Authors of the Scriptures Belonged". I never heard this expressed before, any thoughts?
I hadn’t visited that thread because I figured it was likely to bring out some very strange theories and claims that would probably just make me crazy. But, since you intrigued me with this thread, I decided to do it, anyway. Then, I noticed that the poster in question also claimed that the “Universal Christian Church” began in the Garden of Eden. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y39/Telstars/Smilies/blink.gif
