Christ and His Church šŸ‘

I also find comfort in my son and wife.

God bless

Petting and snuggling the neck of one of my Rottweiler Girls – Razz Marie and Lucy Lou.

Hugging and snuggling my Hubster.

Easter Vigil Mass or any Mass where incense is used.

Snuggling under my fluffy fleece blanket in my chair and being so tired that I drift off to sleep - when there’s nothing pressing to do, so I can stay as long as I want.

The curve of a cat’s head.

The smell of Church - beeswax and old polished wood.

A plate of perfect spaghetti.

ā€œI absolve you from your sinsā€¦ā€

Outdoor gardening; reading one of my favorite books; watching a fire burn in the fireplace; a mug of warm milk; writing.

lying under warm blankets on a cold day, listening to Dan Gibson’s Solitudes, watching the sailboats on the lake in the summer time, and cuddling DH. 😃

Clothes, a towel, or a blanket that’s freshly out of the dryer–that’s an awesome feeling. And I second the fireplace thing. So I’d say, wearing warm clothes fresh out of a dryer, snuggling under a blanket in front of a fire. I’m big on warmth, in case you couldn’t tell. Oh, and add a cup of hot tea to that, regular black tea with milk and no sugar (reminds me of hanging out with Mom when I was home from college)…and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies if you’ve got 'em.

OK, wow, now I think I really need chocolate chip cookies. šŸ™‚

Closing my eyes and imagining being wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus.
