Along the lines of the “what’s for lunch today” thread - thought I’d ask…what’s for dinner?

😃

I’ll start:

Tonight I’m making this for a quasi seder meal before Mass in the evening: Slow Roasted Lamb Shanks

We are having this sammich style with soft unleavened bread, minted yogurt, a Mediterranean style salsa (tomatoes, garlic, olives, cucumbers, olive oil and a touch of red wine vinegar), hummus, tabbouleh, and an herbed salad. Mmmmm!!!

The house smells amazing already!!!

We are having rice with black beans and mixed veggies (carrots, corn, green beans, lima beans) and will probably put some fish in the oven when I get home.

Tonight I will be going to a Passover Seder at my Jewish friends’ home. I think there will probably be about 30 pp.

Probably pick up wendys on our way to church (its a very long drive). so spicy chicken sandwich add bacon for me, nugget meals for the lil monsters (I mean children) and a burger for my better half! top it off with four diet cola’s.

Just put a few frozen pizzas in the oven. Gonna cover some with hot sauce and make the best of it.

Liza… your Holy Thursday menu sounds very creative, authentic and just plain yummy! Definite Passover Seder elements! I hope your family enjoyed it, very much.

Just plain old spaghetti and meatballs at our house. :o

God bless.

Meatless omelettes. (maybe shrimp tempura, we’ll see…heading to the store shortly):o

Yay…someone did!
😛

I never had Long John Silvers until today, it was quite good IMO.
lol–i had it a while back, and it all tastes the same, like the fries and the fish taste alike…anyways, glad u enjoyed!🙂

Homemade french bread, cheese and fruit for the kiddos. Dairy-free “con queso” sauce and homemade tortilla chips for me.

Oh my gosh - it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I highly recommend that recipe for the lamb, I can’t wait to make it again, it was a total hit with everyone!

Tonight we are going to my dad’s house for a major Easter feast that his wife does every year for about 30 people, then to a friend’s house afterward for dessert and visiting.

Happy Easter to all!! :flowers:

BBQ leg of lamb 👍 Marinated overnight in garlic, balsamic vinegar & rosemary 👍👍👍

Brussel sprouts in butter sauce.

Yukky overcooked soggy green beans boiled to death in a big pot with a sliced onion and a smoked ham hock.

Easter braided bread (dyed red, green & yellow).
