What's God's first revelation to men and women?

When did God first reveal Himself to men and women?
If God had revealed Himself first to Adam and Eve, then when, how and why did men and women start worshiping OTHER Gods? There is the idea that people started as animists, worshiping elements of Nature, then Nature became personified into deities, which seems to be against the general idea of Adam and Eve.
 
God revealed Himself to Adam right after he made Adam. God was the one who had Adam name all of the animals. So man knew God from the very beginning. They both knew Him, Adam and Eve.
 
God first revealed Himself through creation. Adam and Eve, whoever they were, came much later.
 
God began revealing himself to creation at the moment a creation existed for him to reveal himelf to.

Adam and Eve “Walked with God.” God revealed himself fully to Adam and Eve before sin entered the world.

Man seperated himelf from God when sin entered the world. Sin was a radical rupture of man’s integration with God, and we were seperated. That’s when man started going off the deep end, worshipping trees and rocks and the sun.

Yes like the others above said God first revealed Himself to Adam and Eve. However, st paul says paganism and worshipping trees and all that jazz occurred when humans began to love the creation more than the creator. they were sinful obviously as all humans are, and sinners hearts are hardened towards God thus it is difficult to see Him. so they saw the creation but not the creator, they were obsessed with the world. this is also how atheism in its simplest of forms came to be. they adore the creation rather than the creator.
 
I know this may come as a shock, but even today :eek: people leave the church and the fullness of the revelation of God :eek:.

So, knowing Cain left to live away from his family; and people ignore/deny revelation; and some even deny the resurrection which has eyewitnesses; you can expect people to walk away from what their parents knew and deny God. So if you knew your great great grandparents walked with God in a garden, you may just decide they were NUTS and live your life with blinders :onpatrol: never seeing God in creation, or your neighbor
