I don’t know about Benny Hinn, but I think that TBN is appealing to more Catholics now. I have caught Fulton Sheen episodes on it every once in a while. Granted, they are the episodes that express universal, Christian beliefs.
Wow - interesting. I’m assuming then that TBN has its share of Protestant detractors then too? I’ll have to check TBN out for “research” purposes. Gotta see this…

If he was raised catholic, and left the church and as been speculated has reverted back to catholicism, all that would be required is a good confession and he could freely partake communion.

What’s interesting is if you do a google search on: benny hinn catholic

you will see a couple of intersting sites that call him a Roman Catholic Mystic and Charistmatic Roman Catholic.
More than likely anti-Catholic sites. I dunno about Hinn, the guy is a really shady character and I suggest everyone stay away from him and his profiting off of the Lord Jesus Christ.

My friend said that she saw Benny Hinn on t.v. recently with Catholic priests, and she reports that he said he experienced a “conversion” at the funeral Mass of John Paul II. She said they actually had the Catechism out and were quoting from it on his show (she grabbed hers just to make sure they weren’t misrepresenting it, and sure enough they were quoting exactly and explaining faithfully)! I believe she said she saw this just last night.

Now Benny Hinn has a very shady past, and I wouldn’t put it past him to jump on the recent fanfare for marketing purposes, but could it be that he really* did* experience a conversion? It bears watching, as I haven’t seen anything online about this very recent turn of events. If this is indeed true, I’d imagine that his program isn’t long for the channels it’s typically been on.
We of course pray and hope he did experience an authentic conversion, so much so that it touched him to the very core and made him study the Catholic Faith. We should pray for him, more than anything else. I would think someone should put him in touch with CHN, as someone here suggested.

👍 Now your getting warm ! The ad I saw said** $ 50.00** a pop for this video !! If one sold a million copies in Canada and a million in USA ( not unlikely… given the populations) this is a very nice nest egg indeed! It is like one hundred million dollars before shipping and handling ! To say that many videos could be sold in other countries that Mr. Hinn visits is not any s-t-r-e-a-c-h of imagination either.Since these videos were on the market soooooooo soon it looks pre-meditated, pre-made (apart from the funeral aspects) and made as a money grab to say the least !

If Benny Hinn died tomorrow
and within a few days of his death a Catholic clergyman put a video on the market on his life … it would look very con-nived and planned to me as well !

My decernment does not see any thing even remotely like a conversion in this picture ! I am still waiting for at least one medically comfirmed healing from this crew! There has been none to date!!

I realize my thoughts appear uncharitable and perhaps the future may prove them incorrect! He may convert 😃 but as it stands, it ticks me off that anyone outside of the Catholic Church would take the liberty of making a video of our most loved Pope when there religious position teaches against the authority of any Pope ! Someone who does not believe in the Catholic Church or** he would belong to it !!** It is as out of order as a Catholic Priest making a video of Mr. Benny Hinn’s life.
Shalom

Link to TBN’s site and Fulton Sheen:

Pretty impressive.
**No thanks :whacky: **on the Hagee recommendation!!
I caught ten minutes of a John Hagee show several weeks ago…at one point he held up the bible and shouted …this is the authority…the authority is not in Rome… gave his little squeal  and carried on. All that glitters is not gold !!
Shalom

I wish that Benny Hinn’s shows would end up with his congregation chasing him around while crazy saxophone music played in the background.
