I want to go buy a plot of land for my eventual (outdoor/in ground)burial and I wanted to see if the prices at my local Catholic cemetery are in line with what you might have come across where you live:

Single plot: $1,000.00
Concrete vault: 650.00
Interment service: 500.00
Endowment care: 100.00
Recordation fee: 100.00
Sales tax on vault: 47.13

Total (for one person): $2,397.13

Purchase of Easement:

**Regular Plot: ** $1100.00 (sale $825.00 + care $275.00)
Angelland Plot: $250.00 (sale $175.00 + care $75.00)
(for infants or small children)
Columbarium Niche for One Cremated Remains: $900.00
(includes inurnment and bronze plaque)
**Columbarium Niche for Two Cremated Remains: ** $1000.00
(includes two inurnments and bronze plaque)

**Interment or Inurnment Expense:
**

**Regular Interment: ** $550.00
**Regular Inurnment: ** $225.00
(cremated remains buried in a grave plot)
**Angelland Interment or Inurnment: ** $225.00
(maximum size: 36" Cherub-size vault)
**Columbarium: ** Inurnment included in price of niche.

Two cremated remains or one regular casket plus one cremated remains may be buried in one regular grave plot.

Two Cherub-size (36") vaults may be buried in one regular grave plot.

(purchase of casket, vault, monument, etc. are negotiated through the funeral home, not the cemetery.)
