Do you believe this saying? Do you believe that there’s this one person that God has meant for you, and that no matter what happens, God will lead you both to each other? Or back to each other?
No . I can reject God’s will for me .Do you believe this saying?
Nope.Do you believe this saying?
What this says to me is Christ is offering me grace within my marriage. I can cooperate with this grace, thus making my wife THE ONE. Or I can freely reject Christ’s grace because I would rather be THE ONE.“The sacrament of matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church. It gives spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved his Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life” (CCC 1661).
This assumes that people are fated to be together by the power of God. I don’t think so, at least i don’t think there is anything in Christian teaching that would suggest that to be true… It’s a romantic belief.Do you believe this saying? Do you believe that there’s this one person that God has meant for you, and that no matter what happens, God will lead you both to each other? Or back to each other?
