Turkey, sage stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato caserole, green beans, green salad, rolls, wine, apple cider, pecan pie and pumpkin cheesecake. I started cooking today.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow! Now that sounds like a Thanksgiving dinner! Am I invited?

Please do share!
Turkey, stuffing (in the crock pot), dressing (inside the bird), candied sweet potatoes (orange juice and brown sugar…no marshmallows allowed!), smashed potatoes (cooked white potatoes obliterated in the food processor with olive oil and some salt), Great Grandma’s German Potato Salad. quinoa pilaf, green beans, green salad, pumpkin pie (OMGOSH! I just realized that I don’t have whipped cream!) Thank goodness my brother invited us over for some Thanksgiving day fun which means that I might get away with not having to dress my pumpkin pie to the nines!LOL!! 😉

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatos, sweet potatos, green beans, succotash, wassail, assorted pies.

It will be just me and my husband this year. We aren’t going home for Thanksgiving…this is the first time I will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I’m growing up so fast! lol.

Turkey, green bean casserole, homemade mac and cheese, apple cider sangria, red velvet cake.

I am so stuffed. Need to get on treadmill. Come on, will power.

Spaghetti with clam sauce. I was too sick to do anything more complicated.

For the second year in a row, I was blessed to share a traditional Thanksgiving meal with a non-Catholic Christian family living in the area … turkey, gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes, a baked vegetable and fruit dish made with pears, onions, and brussel sprouts, three kinds of bread, and cranberries. Conversation was very pleasant as well.

A little late but we had Seasoned turkey, gravy, green bean casserole, mirliton shrimp casserole, dressing with Italian Sausage, sweet potato soufflé, mashed potatoes, salad bar, cheese w/herb crackers, brown and serve rolls and butter and orange marmalade and strawberry jam, pumpkin pie w/dollop of whipped cream, iced tea. My sister’s family had the traditional seafood gumbo, and sausage and chicken gumbo with rice. Thank God for food, and family and friends at each available seat.
