What is his view on non-Catholic and non-Christian religions? Is he going to have us be one or what?

NOTHING IS UPSETTING ME!!!Paris, Paris, Paris, what is upsetting you now??
Why in the world would you think that the Holy Father is somehow going to try to change the course of the Church into something it cannot be, i.e., untrue to Christ?? Pope Benedict’s desire for all people and cultures and nations to be united in Christ is palpable, but that hardly means that he is going to dilute Catholic doctrine to arrive at a union at the surface level, a union without a total transformation and conformation in Christ in the fullness of the Catholic sacramental life.
The Holy Father’s writings are quite easily found; see for yourself what sort of man God has blessed us with as His Vicar.
Paris, please pray not to be blown about and confused by every wind of opposition against Christ and His Church.
The Holy Father can persue this only insofar as any reconciliation is compatible with the Truth of the Faith. The Orthodox Churches, for example have no beliefs that contradict the Catholic Church, with the execption of the primacy of the See of Peter. Jesus Himself commanded that we must be one as He and the Father are one. Of course this is not to the exclusion of the Truth and responsibility that He gave to Peter. What is his view on non-Catholic and non-Christian religions? Is he going to have us be one or what?![]()
