I wonder if this “super computer” is a Mac or a PC? Maybe the Vatican will let me borrow it for online gaming. It might just give me the edge I need. :newidea:
This is being done by Jesuits, remember?
The computer runs IgnatUX.

  1. The Church started Islam, communism, nazism,.
  2. The Church started the KKK to ‘make the protestants look bad’.
  3. The Church assassinated Lincoln, JFK, and attempted JP2.
  4. The Church has the names of all protestants stored in a ‘big computer’ in the Vatican.
  5. IHS really means “Isis, Horus, Seth”. Why they would use latin letters I dont know.
  6. The Pope actually worships Dagon the fish god as evidenced by his two pointed hat.
  7. Insiders in the Vatican assassinated JP1 because he was about to depose all the homos and freemasons hiding within the Vatican.
  8. The Church tortured and killed Galileo because he taught that the Earth revolves around the Sun.
  9. The Church tortured and killed no fewer then 50 Million ‘bible believers’ during the Spanish Inquisition.

This is not really “anti-Catholic” as much as it is just plain strange…

I once found a “Christian” on Youtube who was advocating the God the Father (masculine) had some kind of divine sex with the Holy Spirit (feminine) in order to impregnate Mary.:eek:

Furthermore she advocated that the woman of Rev. 12 referred to wisdom as a separate entity. Her support for this is the book of Proverbs (especially chapters 7-9).

A Baptist lady repeated year after year that Catholics don’t end the Lord’s prayer with the “for thine is the kingdom, power, and glory forever” because we want to give those attributes to Mary.

Well, I would have to say that the biggest whopper I have ever heard about the Catholic Church I just heard yesterday. Basically some poster on an ecumenical Christian forum that I visit claimed that God hates the pope. Yeah. Uh huh!

What’s the craziest Anti-Catholic whopper you’ve ever heard?
  1. “You Catholics don’t know anything. Your priests and teachers don’t know anything!” 😃
  2. (This one was actually told about me) “Those who are born again don’t pray to saints. 😃 May God grant him grace that he may be truly born again!” 😃
  3. “You’re not born again and you don’t have the Holy Spirit in you!” 😃
  4. “All those proclamations and canonizations of saints were made by popes who were themselves not born again!” 😃
  5. “John Paul 2 died and went to hell. As far as we know, John Paul 2 didn’t say anything about being born again.” :rotfl:
  6. (When I quote scripture to support Catholic beliefs) - “Why are you twisting the scripture??” 😃
  7. (When I quote scripture to support Catholic beliefs) - “That’s off topic!”
  8. (When I quote scripture to support Catholic beliefs) - “My question is still unanswered!” 😃
  9. “Why do you for the sake of your own tradition, make void the commandment of God!”
  10. “It’s somewhere in John 3! Read it.”
  11. “Why you Catholics added 7 books to the Bible?”
  12. “The Catholic church doesn’t teach anything about this very important doctrine of rapture!”

Another good one is that supposedly in many Catholic Churches it is popular to sprinkle the blood of chickens on the altar to summon the devil.

I hate it when the priests do that. There’s two breasts, two thighs, and two legs wasted.

Hello,
One person actually claimed that the Mass is white witchcraft in disguise. Also, the “evidence” that the Catholic Church worships the devil is because the Catholic Church has a high respect for sex.

A Protestant friend told me that the Catholic Church , centuries ago TOOK AWAY ALL THE BIBLE FROM PEOPLE AND BURNED THEM. They also said that they prohibited the people from reading the bible!

From that moment in my life, I was so shocked ,I began to study my Catholic Faith really hard!!!

What does the IHS stand for??
First and foremost, it is a Christogram, a monogram or combination of letters that forms an abbreviation for the name of Jesus Christ. In the Latin-speaking Christianity of medieval Western Europe (and so among Catholics and many Protestants today), the most common Christogram is “IHS” or “IHC”, denoting the first three letters of the Greek name of Jesus, iota-eta-sigma, or ΙΗΣ. The Greek letter iota is represented by I, and the eta by H, while the Greek letter sigma is either in its lunate form, represented by C, or its final form, represented by S.

Don’t worry. Whenever someone says something like that again, we’ll just say that we actually have a bucket of KFC ‘chicken’, but we all know that those aren’t real poultry!

BTW, there IS blood on our altars - the life-giving Blood of Christ (John 6:53). How better can you get? 😉

I think the only whopper that beats the OP is the ancient pagan claim that Catholics were atheists. The modern version of this whopper is “you have to leave the institutional church to find God”.

I have Charismatic Protestant (UPC) friends and they told me they know someone in their Church that was former Catholic, and that the person told them that Catholics are taught that the Pope is Jesus Christ Re-Incarnate.

When I was first converting to the Catholic Church a lot of my friends and co-workers were trying to talk me out of it. One day one of my co-workers, who is a Charismatic Protestant, told me that the Holy Spirit had been telling him on his car ride into work to warn me about the Catholic Church.

Thinking that I would hear one of the usual arguments, I asked him what his main concern was. He went on to tell me that;

"I could never become a Catholic or even enter the doors of a Catholic Church because the popes worship the Egyptian Sun god “Ra”.

I was blown away! I told him that was ridiculous and asked him where he had heard this information? He went on to explain that he had read it in a booklet that his brother had given him. He said this “booklet” proved that the popes really worshiped the Egyptian Sun god and not the God of the Bible because it showed a picture of the hat’s that were worn by “Ra’s” priest during their religious ceremonies and the Catholic popes wore this same hat.

I tried my best to convince him that the pope doesn’t worship the Egyptian Sun god, but everything I said fell on deaf ears. I’ve heard a lot of crazy stuff being taught against the Church, but this one is by far the strangest.

I would like to hear some of your stories, so think of the most bizarre charge you’ve ever heard made against the Church and share it with the rest of us. Books, conversations, Internet, radio, anything is fair game.🙂
“The Pope (John Paul II) is the (this was c. 15 or so years ago) Anti-Christ and he will take over the World when the single European Currency comes in”. The Euro is now ten years old and John Paul II has been dead for fives years. So that would have to be one of the biggest and most absurd. I remember thinking it was moronic at the time. 👍

I like my Demon Chicken with Frank’s Red Hot and some Fire Water…
