What's the Jack Chick Equivalent for "Traditional Catholics?"

People who attend the traditional Latin Mass are Catholic in belief (generally), and believe there is but one God, the Blessed Trinity…apparently you think differently. And your mentality as expressed through your posts reinforces my opinion that you and others like you practice a counterfeit, non-Catholic religion.

Also, in the TLM only the ordained priest distributes Holy Communion…and it’s apparent from the fact that you are a Eucharistic Minister that in the Novus Ordo, not only are lay Catholics distributing Our Lord, but modernists as well.
 
the church has changed it’s teaching on the relationship between church and state in the west including catholic countries. for the most part, post vatican II novus ordo catholicism is banal and nearly a different faith than that of the church prior to vatican II. the liturgy is completely different, disciplines are different and the way people practice the faith is different. objectively speaking, it’s changed substantively.

so in a way, i’m glad they’re not forcing the novus ordo church on america or any other country. the traditional movement wouldn’t exist otherwise. it’s ironic. if given the choice, i’d rather see eastern orthodox forced down everyone’s throat because the catholic church here in america is not orthodox enough. in the end, bible christians and the orthodox are better off staying where they are until the catholic church get’s its act together.

I believe in **one **holy catholic and apostolic Church. There is not conterfeiting involved when one follows the apostolic succesor to the chair of Peter. I believe in presence of Jesus Christ in the eucharist I receive, regardless of whom I receive it from, body and blood, soul and divinity. There is nothing non-Catholic about us. There is nothing conterfeit about Christ.

In your first sentence, ethelzguy, you’re saying that other religions contain the Truth. And in your second sentence… well, I’m still in shock about that one.

Are you saying that traditional Catholics believe that NO non-Catholic religions contain ANY truth?

Judaism believes in One God. Is that not truth?

Buddhism believes in compassion for sentient beings. Is that not truth?

All religions, at their heart, teach love, compassion and virtue. Are those not truth as well?

No, I’m not saying that. All religions contain some element of truth. They all contain some element of good. But they do not contain the full measure of Truth as the Catholic Church does. This is basic Catholic 101.

Why is it difficult to believe other religions exist? Or is it just to easy to assume the worse meaning in a brother Catholic?

Apparently NOT. I Believe in One God, The Father, Almighty…I simply stated that there are others who worship other gods.

I never said other religions were the Truth. I said that “Supressing other religions denies one the ability to “seek” the Truth.”

You are claiming I said something that I clearly did NOT.

Have you become so caught up in the foolish notion that other religions should be suppressed by government, that you’ve lost the ability to be rational? I am neither Protestant nor Pagan, and your personal attack is out of line.

How can you know what is Good, if you don’t know what is Bad?

Did you read the second reading a week ago Sunday, where Paul discussed this very thing?

Don’t all lies contain a little kernel of truth? A glass of orange juice might be good for you…but if it’s poisoned with cyanide, you still die, despite the Vitamin C…so it is with false religions. And anyway, shouldn’t we recognize Satanism since it teaches the “truth” that Satan exists and is an enemy of God?
