I will conceed that I shouldn’t judge her living arrangement with her parents, in fact many cultures encourage living with parents and family until marriage, I don’t think thats morally wrong.
I don’t necessarily think there is a huge benefit to anyone for every 18 yo to move out of their parent’s house and live on their own. However, I also don’t think it is appropriate for young adults to spend all their money on consumables (clothes, nights out, etc.) instead of saving and making a pln for when they are older and ready for marriage and family.

The economy in Japan is very different from that of the US, but it would behoove any young person who is looking to marry and have a family to save money while their expenses are low.

Exactly. I had a friend who was fortunate enough to have parents with a full apartment in their converted basement. They let him (and his spouse after marrying) live there rent free. They lived reasonably and saved enough for a down-payment within a few years.

That is obviously rare, but I am encouraging my son, who has no scholarships, to remain at home and be frugal while he is in college (community first and then transfer…hopefully locally), so he can start his career with as little debt (zero preferably) as possible and some savings. I will do the same with my other kids. I also teach them about compound savings and the value of starting their retirement savings today!

I do not want people to live a luxurious lifestyle as with some parasite singles in Japan;
I simply want people to live without financial insecurity as the parasite singles are free from that. I believe that goal is compatible with the aims of social justice.

Um…the parasite singles are free of financial insecurity only as long as their parents are alive and able to provide them with food and shelter. What happens if Mom and/or Dad needs long term care and all financial resources are diverted to pay for that care? Once the parents die, the home may need to be sold and other assets liquidated to pay for medical debts. So now you have an employed adult who has never faced adult responsibilities, has no money saved, no real idea of the cost of living, and no home. What happens then? And what happens when the former parasite single reaches old age, needs to be placed in long-term care, and has no assets saved to pay for care or family to help?
