Weren’t the nazi war criminals dealt with after ww2?

If I remember correctly, many of Hitler’s henchmen experienced a little neck-stretching at the gallows for the mass murder they did.
and will have to be dealt with accordingly” just sounds menacingly cool, like how Conrad Veight would threaten Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, and it even goes well with Psalm 137.

HA! So many more were hired by the government for their programs. The time is long gone since America was truly a Christian nation. I live in Canada, btw. Don’t even get me started about this country. The abortion issue isn’t even really a debate here anymore. It’s just a normal thing.

Maybe I’m reading the book of Psalms too much. King David prays to God several times to defend him from his enemies and to “deal with them accordingly”.😃

I don’t doubt you. the more violent parts get left out of the Office, so I’m not as familar with the psalms as you are. I’m just admiring a catchy phrase.

What ever corruption there is in Canada most likely was inspired by us down here. We tend to export the most vile aspects of our culture world-wide.

Soon the whole world will be overweight, pop music listening, new-age inspired moral relativists like us.

Like when I acted up as a kid, my mom would say, “All hell is gonna break loose!” and “Your a_ _ is grass, and I’m the lawnmower!”😃

on the other hand, US-style notions of civil liberties and freedoms are spreading throughout the world. the writer Neal Stephenson relates a story about an international conference of police chiefs where one of the attendees was complaining that arrestees in his country were expecting to be read their* Miranda *rights, which they learned about through re-runs of Starsky & Hutch.

Or, in France where people influenced by American tv started calling Judges ‘your honor’ instead of the French expression ‘Mr. President’ - or whatever.

The longer God waits to render judgement, the more children will die by abortion.

Ever read the book of Habakkuk?

Hab 1:1 The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
Hab 1:2 O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
Hab 1:3 Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
Hab 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

What did God say in response? Did he rebuke him for asking for justice?

Hab 1:5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
COME, LORD JESUS !!!

I just feel frustrated and abandoned by God. I have prayed and fasted myself sick over this, and it seems like he’s just ignoring me. I know there are people better and more holy than I who have been praying too.

Why let children be butchered in the womb just so mankind can enjoy free will, and why ignore the prayers of faithful people so evil men can keep killing?
Chris, maybe this can help.

Malachi 3 14
He laboureth in vain that serveth God, and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinances, and that we have walked sorrowful before the Lord of hosts?
Wherefore now we call the proud people happy, for they that work wickedness are built up, and they have tempted God and are preserved. Then they that feared the Lord spoke every one with his neighbor; and the Lord gave ear, and heard it: and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that fear the Lord, and think on his name. And they sahall be My special possession, saith the Lord of hosts, in the day that I do judgement: and I will spare them, as a man spareth his son that serveth him. And you shall return, and shall see the difference between the just and the wicked: and between him that serveth God, and him that serveth him not.

I am very curious about what you did that upset your poor mother so much. Notice I said “poor mother”. That is because I am a single mother of 3 boys 9, 8, 7 years old.

Nothing much. Just normal kid-like misbehavior.

Despite all of the chastising of the original poster I truly understand the emotion involved in this issue. 140 some years ago emotions were just as high over another issue in our nation.
To me the problem is that it seems everything we do is to no effect. We vote in pro life politicians and nothing ever changes.
I believe our country has run amuck. For the most part the will of the people is of no concern at all to our leaders. Who wouldn’t be frustrated knowing the numbers of innocent lives lost daily and we are impotent to effect a change.

Exactly!

I personally think pro-choicers are either uninformed or have no conscience.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Saline abortion is an induced abortion. The woman would likely be admitted to the hospital. She would not be sitting in a waiting room or anywhere else thumbing through a magazine. She would be laboring like any woman in labor. That’s work, sir. Not a walk in the park.

It’s this kind of deliberate rhetorical drivel that has come to characterize the Catholic push for the abolition of abortion. Lies ain’t gonna do it, dude.

That is an incorrect statement. She would not be laboring like any woman in labor…because she is MURDERING her own child!!! Any other woman in labor would be able to hold that baby and rejoice over its life. A woman murdering her unborn child, and then doing what she needs to in order to get the evidence extracted from her body is not the same in any instance.
That’s work, sir. Not a walk in the park.

***The above statement almost makes it seem that you want us to feel bad for the woman ***who is in labor because she has chosen to burn her baby alive from the inside out, and this is what she has to go through in order to do so? Was this your intention?

It’s this kind of deliberate rhetorical drivel that has come to characterize the Catholic push for the abolition of abortion. Lies ain’t gonna do it, dude.

***Let me see if I get this straight. We are ***supposed to pity the woman because she has to open her legs ******to the abortionist who will cut up her unborn baby into little pieces and suction him out of her body? But we are not supposed to feel sorry for the baby who is FEELING himself be cut up into little pieces, and who, no matter how hard he tries to move away from the instruments of torture and murder, cannot escape?

Is this truly what you are saying???

The saline abortion was characterized as a procedure during which a woman could be administered saline and then sit in a waiting room thumbing through a magazine while the saline took its intended effect. This impression is patently false and intentionally misleading.

That is what’s wrong with the picture presented.

The way you respond to the events is your business and I have no connection to that whatever. The question was posed: “What’s Wrong With This Picture?” I responded to exactly that, no more.

These are the facts. If you want to twist them to serve your purpose, go on ahead and mislead as many people as possible. I find that to be a corrupt mission.
