What's wrong with trusting the Holy Father?

Don’t worry, I once quoted something JPII said and I was told I was silly for listening to JPII’s foolishness.

By the same person, I was told that I was bordering on heresy for trusting the Catechism of the Catholic Church instead of listening to “tradition”, whatever that means! :confused:
It means they have set themselves up as the only true interpreters of ‘tradition’, above the Magisterium and above the Pope.

You were right in not listening to anyone who believes such things about themselves. They are the ones bordering…

Stick with HMC and those who are in communion with Rome, this is ‘true tradition’. Christ has given us promises. 🙂

Nobody actually listens to the Holy Father and that is the problem.

Nobody is paying attention to his writings.
