I love all of it, but the Vigil holds a special place in my heart. Even when I wasn’t Catholic, I would attend the Vigil. It seemed absolutely magical to me the way the church went from complete darkness, with the gentle glow of the candles spreading through the whole building until it lit everything.
Processing into that darkened church behind the lit Paschal candle on the night of my baptism - it just cemented the mysticality of that night.
