What's your favorite version of the movie, A Christmas Carol?

Hands down, bar none, Alister Sim’s version of Scrooge-A Christmas Carol, 1951. None of the others can carry this mans water when it comes to his portrayal of Scrooge
 
Mickey’s Christmas Carol. Scrooge McDuck as Scrooge, Goofy as Jacob Marley, Mickey as Bob Cratchit. One of his nephews as Tiny Tim. Jimminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Its available on one of those “Classic Holiday Stories” DVDs. Number 6 I think (I own the DVD cause the special never airs on television anymore).

I remember that one as a kid but yeah, it’s not on tv anymore.
 
I will join the other lowbrows by stating that Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol keeps growing on me every year with razzleberry dressing, LA LA, LA LA-LA LA-LA, and I’m all alone in the world.

However the most entertaining Christmas Carol film is the Reginald Owen version. I like Gene Lockhart’s Cratchit and the whole Cratchit family here.
 
All of you modernists have missed out on the best version of “A Christmas Carol.” Back in the late forty’s / early fifty’s either Decca or Capitol Records did a recording on 78 RPM platters. It is a multiple platter set in a box. It is narrated by Lionel Barrymore. Nothing beats his reading of Scrooge. Too bad I can’t find it remastered on CD.
I heard a recording of Jonathan Winters doing it this year, but it doesn’t even come close.
