It was only till a couple of years ago that I really started to like peach coloured flowers. Those roses are truly amazing. Do they have a really nice scent?

I don’t think so, or if so, it is very faint. But then with my chronic sinus issues, I can’t be sure.

Red Penta, though I’ve also grown a mauve, light pink, a hot pink and a white.

Though these ⬆️ also come in the common orange and I’ve also seen a georgous almost luminous red.

Oh now these are just very pretty, I would love to grow them here but I think it is too warm.

Same ,THT…I have them on the south side of my house… they are just coming up now,but after three years are still spindly and too unhappy to flower .

I want to buy a couple of Taiwan cherry Prunus campanulata for the tuis in the area. They really love them. I do have a good sized flax bush which they really like too.

I have kererū flying overhead going from one Puriri to the other. They like the berries on them. They also really like my Ti kouka (cabbage tree). My nick name for them are the B52 bombers!

This rose looks familiar.

I used to grow a rose similar to this. Pink with a yellow base and super fragrant.

The rose is named Tiffany, a very fragrant variety of rose.

I might look for that variety - but this one is called Joyfulness. Though I have two really lovely smelling white ones I planted a bit over a year ago now and the smell is just georgous!

Is one of your white fragrant roses called Pope John Paul II?

It’s supposed to be very fragrant and this rose is planted in the Vatican gardens.

No it isn’t. Unfortunately I don’t have much space for roses. And for the life of my I can’t remember what they are. Though one I did have which was georgous was called Pascali.

Jasmine is beautiful 😃
I really love honeysuckle and have a few varieties.
Yesterday I transplanted a seedling that had popped up from birds ,I think it is the Firecracker one with a really beautiful scent. So nice being able to.plant them near windows that will be open in Summer to let the fragrance in.

According to Jackson and Perkins, the Pope JP II Rose is grown in the Vatican private gardens. J&P bred this rose in honor of Pope JP II.
It must be a new trend .

The Pope Franciscus Rose has been grown in honour of Pope Francis .
