These pinkish purple cone shaped flowers are a kind of Primula, I think.

The word primula is the Latin feminine of primus meaning first (prime), applied to flowers that are among the first to open in Spring 😃

I think it is a Hebe called Sunset Boulevard. I have one in my garden. Lovely plant and flowers.

They really do,and in that sweet pink too.
In my younger years there were some kinds of flowers I appreciated much less than I do now 🤔
Here are a couple of early daffodils (King Alfred’s?) Our season and plants are somewhat confused 🙂 Coming early.

I have this lovely Viburnum opulus ‘Roseum’ growing along my fence line. Mine is a bit odd as it flowers first and then the leaves arrive when the flowers die. 🙃

It is the same here too, noticed some paperwhites flowering here too.

My neighbours Roger and Mary had a fuschia plant growing outside of their house last year , but not this year because though Roger likes them Mary doesn’t .

They are beautiful , both neighbours and fuschias .

⬆️ This orchid cactus used to belong to my mum when she was alive

⬇️ And this is also a plant she grew - Chalice Vine Flower. It is a variegated plant which can be clipped to a hedge or bush. The flowers darken as they age - lemon to a deep golden butter color.
