This shrub has these delicate little purple and white flowers, but again I don’t know what sort of plant it is.

Maybe this is a bit boring, but i love the fake queen anne’s lace and other wildflowers that grow on the sides of the road. My drive to-from work is much nicer when i can look at the pink clover and yellow dandelions and white lace.

This is another plant that I have in my garden. A really nice shrub that grows to a good 1 meter squared. Flowers are really delicate.

It is part of the Polygala Species, Sweet Pea Shrub called Petite Butterflies or Polygala fruticosa

It’s beauty not boredom .

I have three large woodbine plants ,the sweet lemony scent is wafting in through windows 🙂 We still have another month of winter to go but the cootamundra wattle is in full bloom and jonquils and Japonica blooming. With these cheerful flowers ,bring it on I say :)😃

With the weather we are having at the moment this is an appropriate flower .

How hot is it at your place?

I hear parts of England had temperatures of about 37 deg Celsius.

“In the dooryard fronting an old farm-house near the white-wash’d palings,
Stands the lilac-bush tall-growing with heart-shaped leaves of rich green,
with many a pointed blossom rising delicate, with the perfume strong I love,
With every leaf a miracle - and from this bush in the dooryard,
With delicate-color’d blossoms and heart-shaped leaves of rich green,
A sprig with its flower I break.”

It would be nice having one growing in the backyard and the wind dispersing its fragrance into the house.

Right now there are lilies blooming near my bedroom window and I smell their fragrance around dusk. These types of lilies bloom outside my bedroom window. Not my picture but the same type of lily.

“The chrysanthemum, also known as the “Autumn Flower”, is one of the four “honourable plants”. The others are plum, orchid and bamboo which are symbols of nobility. In most ancient essays and poems, writers use the terms “jade bone, icy body, pearl petal and red heart” to describe the flower. For on cold autumn days, when all other flowers were fading away, only the chrysanthemum was able to flourish in the cold winds. The combination of beauty with strong character made an ideal personality in the eyes of romantic Chinese scholars.”

Two beautiful bouquets of roses that I saw in the mausoleum under our cathedral yesterday. And yes, they were very fragrant!

Good boy ! You took note of the scent for us 😃
Today I saw a Lucerne tree flowering, and also an Almond tree coming out in blossom .

Nice to know they were fragrant.

Roses without scent are a disappointment.

⬆️ I saw this orchid last year. I feel in love with it, and recently found one very similar, though with not as much pink/purple around the edges as the one in the photo so I’m thinking perhaps an early cross.
