A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Where in the bible can I prove Jesus was crucified.
That person obviously has issues that go far beyond a simple need to prove Christ was crucified. All four Gospels clearly teach that He was.A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Whoa, what a jerk.A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Where in the bible can I prove Jesus was crucified.
If he was angry tords me I don’t know why? I never done anything to offend him I’m very quiet, I guess the crucifix offended him. :sThat person obviously has issues that go far beyond a simple need to prove Christ was crucified. All four Gospels clearly teach that He was.
I would think a person who would take and destroy someone else’s property is not defending their own faith but lashing out. If the person in question knows you are a Catholic then the anger may be directed toward the Church. If not then the anger may directed at you.
It is also possible that the anger is directed at no one in particular and this is just a confused and hurting person who needs your prayers far more than proof texts.
Remember…
Love your enemies and pray for those spitefully use you.
If the world hates me they will hate you.
Blessed are you when you suffer persecution for my Name’s sake.
Pray and forgive.
And perhaps avoid that person as well.
God Bless
Forget about that.A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Where in the bible can I prove Jesus was crucified.
I knew the whole Pagen symbol thing but wow they use to believe in the cross? Interesting!Jw’s teach that Christ was Crucified on a pole or torture stake, instead of a cross.
They are hostile to the cross and say that it is a pagan symbol!
They used to say Christ suffered on a cross, and they used the cross symbol on their tracts, up till 1931

:bigyikes: Not true? It is all over the NT,especially the Gospels. Problem is that JW’s use their own NWT Bible which is perverted to support their novelties. Ask the JW:A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Where in the bible can I prove Jesus was crucified.
AmenForget about that.
Don’t avoid him. Don’t call him a jerk. Don’t argue. Let the peace of Christ come over the situation. God can work wonders in an environment of peace.
And then be Christ yourself, and buy him lunch.

Many places - To name a few:A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Where in the bible can I prove Jesus was crucified.
Obviously it’s incorrect to judge any group by the acts of a few, as in the example of the OP and the story of the Catholic Group/Individual in Australia. Destruction of property is not what Christ calls us to do, and here in America we have the ability to voice our displeasure with certain displays such as you are describing in Australia.I view this in the same way I viewed the destruction of the poster in Austrailia by a Catholic group or Catholic individual who did not like the poster depicting Mary surprised she was pregant as she viewed a pregnancy test strip…it was wrong to do so…neither act can be justified by claiming “blasphemy”…whether a Catholic or a JW destroy another’s property because they disagree with the imagry…it is wrong…and yet many Catholics defended the vandals actions…perhaps the JW felt as “entitled” to destroy anothers property as did the Catholics in Australia…
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” seems an appropriate addage.![]()
Yet the Catholic who destroyed the Anglican poster was no more justified in doing so than the JW in destroying a sticker of a crucifix. NEITHER the poster nor the sticker was the property of the person who destroyed it…NEITHER can be justified.Obviously it’s incorrect to judge any group by the acts of a few, as in the example of the OP and the story of the Catholic Group/Individual in Australia. With that said, the JW’s as a group believe Jesus did not die on a cross, and they believe the cross is an Idol; which makes any person/group that even has one of these in a room an Idolater in their mind. These beliefs of this youngling brought them to the point of taking the sticker and ripping it up, and I am sure that the JW leadership do not approve of this. ** Scripture clearly shows the story of Mary being made aware of her pregnancy by the Angel, obviously she was surprised but the depiction of the poster in Australia is offensive and in bad taste**.
MaroniteRosary, do not be ashamed of your faith and who you are. Keep living your life as if the incident didn’t happen, and as TimothyH recommended; show the love of Christ to this child and offer to do something out of the kindness of your heart.

I totally agree and that was the point of my first paragraph. Neither of the acts are justified, and you cannot assume the JW’s or Catholic leaders would condone such actions just because someone in those respective faiths destroyed something that was offensive to them. It is not correct to “judge” a group based on the actions of a few, and this expands well beyond religion.Yet the Catholic who destroyed the Anglican poster was no more justified in doing so than the JW in destroying a sticker of a crucifix. I’d also check out Colossians 1:20A Jehovah witness in my class took a cruicifix sticker from me and has ripped it up saying it’s false and not true. Where in the bible can I prove Jesus was crucified.
Ahhh…I don’t believe I indicated that the “group” represented by it’s adherants condoned either act of vandalism…please indicate where I did so…it was not my intention.I totally agree and that was the point of my first paragraph. I may have misunderstood, I was just clarifying that I was not justifying the act of vandalism in Australia just because it was done by Catholics; even though I personally find the item they destroyed offensive. I could see how maybe I didn’t make that clear; Peace to you PublisherAhhh…I don’t believe I indicated that the “group” represented by it’s adherants condoned either act of vandalism…please indicate where I did so…it was not my intention.
