Here he says or it’s said that he says that there’s no literal hot burning fiery hell but people who chooses not to go with God just simply vanishes away and that’s what “hell” is .

Scripture does talk about the lake of fire as well as the parable of the rich man and Lazarus so that seems like a good indicator of the nature of hell.

At the same time the Holy Father talked about how hell is also an eternal separation from God.

Well if pope says there’s nothing like burning hell and all…does that mean there’s things in Bible which are exaggerated or added to scare us so that we would lead a good life ?

Well… we do not know for sure what he said as there is no transcript nor a direct quote from the pope saying there is no “hellfire”. The Vatican has also denied he said any such thing.

Where does this article say anything about “simply vanishes away?”

Just reading the article:
So why the confusion about Francis and hell?

The confusion came from Eugenio Scalfari, the 93-year-old co-founder and former editor of La Repubblica, an Italian daily, who in a March 28 story claims the pope told him “Hell does not exist.”

This is not the first time Scalfari has caused a sensation by reporting his conversations with the pope. Scalfari is an atheist friend with whom the pope enjoys talking. Scalfari presents detailed quotations of the pope despite the fact he does not record their conversations or even take notes. Every reporter in Rome knows that you cannot take Scalfari’s reports seriously, but his stories are just too sensational to be ignored.
It doesn’t appear that we can make a judgment on this, since it was reported by someone who can’t fully be trusted with nuanced topics like this one.

I read it somewhere else. Like in another article but with the same topic.

Yea
But I would like to think that there isn’t like a fiery hell as such . And would Jesus being a very loving god who even died for us sinners throw a sinner into such a place🙄

Both the articles you posted cite the same source: Mr. Scalfari, a 93-year-old “journalist” who doesn’t take notes or record interviews, but claims to reproduce in his articles verbatim exactly what the Pope actually said.

Let’s break this down:
93 years old
Doesn’t take notes
Doesn’t record interviews
But claims to repeat what the Pope actually said

Yeah, this is about as credible as my cat talking to me.

Not even worth thinking about.

We have fire on earth, so it is possible there is fire in hell. I think if one doesn’t want to get burned, they should stay away from the fire.

But I would like to think that there isn’t like a fiery hell as such .
Hell isn’t something we can fully comprehend at this time. It’s possible that “fire” was used because the idea of burning alive was the closest comparison they had to compare what the pain of hell is like.
And would Jesus being a very loving god who even died for us sinners throw a sinner into such a place🙄
Who is to say that, for those who have chosen to resist God, hell isn’t less tortuous than heaven?

If there is no fire in hell, then what is there in Purgatory? I thought that there was supposed to be union in the Catholic Church and only one belief?

Yes it is …and the disappearing part was only given in this article

And yet, the Pope still gives him these interviews despite some shocking, scandalous thing that disturbs the faithful being attributed to him every time. Either the Pope’s very foolish or he sees no problem with it. Neither possibility is a good look for the Pope.

I would like to dispute this.

If my cat started talking to me, I’d probably at least take it as a much stronger sign that something unusual was up.

This seems to be the same old rumor-mill that we’ve had as long as there have been humans.

Song from my youth:

“We were talking hockey. The cat was talkin’ back. Along about then everything went black. Wasn’t that a party?”
