We can find Wheel of Sevens, a beautiful medieval work and aid for a prayer to remember seven petitions of OUR FATHER.

here: english.cam.ac.uk/medieval/zoom.php?id=678
or
brbl-archive.library.yale.edu/exhibitions/speculum/2v-wheel-of-sevens.html.

We can find English translations which goes for example like this:

Our Father whor art in Heaven, here we pray to become sons of God;
Throught this is given baptism in recognition of the Son of God;
And the spirit of wisdom to revere the Trinity;
And the breastplate of humility agains pride;
Thus we dress the naked in the flesh and comfort the needy in the spirit;
Thus we gain prudence and avoid pride.

Each petition of Our Father is accompanied by one of seven sacraments, one of seven gifts of Holy Spirit, one of seven spiritual weapon according Eph 6, 14-17, one of seven works of mercy (corporal and spiriual) and one of seven capital sins and the opposite virtue.

I did not manage to read the latin text from this beautiful work.
Can anyone help how the latin text exactly goes?
Thank you!

They’re beautiful though I find the Medieval scripts very hard to read. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t know if it is the full and complete text, but this website contains a lot of the Latin:

merg.soc.srcf.net/journal/08confession/circles.php

BTW, thank you so much for posting and sharing this! I’ve never seen it before, but I think it’s awesome! I’ve been painting illuminated manuscripts for years, and this is definitely going on my “TO DO” list.

Wow! What a coll prayer help! Thank you very much for sharing this with us. I printed out one from the second link, the first won’t allow it to be copied. Lovely stuff.
