If I go to confession, truly remorseful, forgiven, then someone asks me if I ever commited a certain sin, I want to say no. It is non of their business, but is denying it commiting another sin?
Don’t affirm it or deny it. Just say that your sins are between you, your confessor and God–and that you don’t discuss such personal information outside of the confessional.
