When can I attend a Protestant worship service?

I am currently a Candidate and will join the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil. I am a public speaker and often give lectures in religious settings, including Protestant churches. I also have many family members who remain Protestant and will invite me to various events at their churches. How do I handle such situations once I am Catholic?
