Hello. This is kind of a silly question, but when you choose your Confirmation name, and if under that name there’s more than one saint. Do you find that ONE person you can relate to most, or it doesn’t matter, all saints under that name can be your saint patrons (e.g., St. John) ?
Thank you for your answers, God bless.

The whole point of this pious custom is to pick a particular Saint that you will develop a prayer relationship with.
St. John the Evangelist is a much different person than St. John Bosco.

All,of them can be your pateon, but, as said above, it’s good to have a particular strong patronage

You choose a Saint, not a name. Only one Saint can become your confirmation Saint. But you can ask others to be your patron saint.

Your patron Saint will choose you; that is, if you open your heart and listen for it.

I chose Paul because my birthday falls in late January. The readings at the time coincided with Paul conversion from being a pesecutor of Chrisians to becoming a Christian.
Besides Paul, I also pray to St. Jude. 🙏🙏🙏

St Elisabeth, mother of St John the Baptist, chose me. I am pretty sure that St Elisabeth of Hungary prays for me as well as I received the Sacrament of Confirmation on the day we celebrated her in November 😃.I know that the St Elisabeth (of Hungary) sisters pray for me as they have told me that.

There is always one saint that sticks our more than others do. There is a person mentioned in the Bible that we “fall in love with” because he/she reminds us of something that we also struggle with or admire or what it could be.

I chose a saint who shares my physical disability, if he could become a saint in this body I might have a chance!!
