When did Jesus realize He was the Son of God?

Hi to everyone at CAF,
This website has been a Godsend. One question I have though is does the Church have any official doctrine as to when Christ knew He was the Son of God. The question has come up in our bible study on a few occasions and some have said He didn’t realize this until later in His life, In fact I’ve heard a priest say this. I think that since Christ was true man and True God He must have known all along. What does the Catholic Church say?
