**I’**ll try - just for you!

PS - Get over it.
The reason people complain about silly things like this is because they have nothing of substance to contribute to the discussion.
Actually; it is annoying, but I would guess you have heard that on more than one occasion. Keep on keeping on for your time on earth is but a vapor.

Wow!This post of yours is a great improvement.Keep it up.👍

I notice you did not address my criticism of you indicating that it is justified in using terminology CALCULATED to offend Catholics simply because a poster employs a style that irritates you. This too is very revealing.
The Roman Catholic Church or The Roman Church terminology is not meant to offend what it is meant to do is be precise, leaving no confussion. My definition of Catholic Church is an assembly or congregation that includes all born again Christians. So the “set” of The Church is all who are in the body of Christ. The RCC is a subset of The Church.

Lots of protestants seem to be happy with the early teaching of the chirch and call those that were involved the first Christians etc but never seem able to attribute the collation and protection of the bible or anything else that is good to the Catholic church. So what i was wondering is when do non catholics see as Catholicism starting?
The Catholic Church was functioning as it does today in Acts 15.

Christians in Antioch had a doctrinal question. They consulted the Church leaders. The Church, based on the direct revelation to Peter from God, and based on the counsel and guidance of the Holy Spirit, made a ruling.

The Christians in Antioch complied.

The catholic church started immediately. The Catholic church was a few centuries later.

You and others have been advised that the term Roman Church is vituperative and offensive to Catholics.

Roman Church,Romans and Romish are historical INSULTS which Catholics will NOT tolerate.Especially on a Catholic Website. They are also against forum rules.Conduct yourself accordingly. The Roman Catholic Church as you well know is acceptable. You have been warned.

I have reviewed the rules here: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=2
and have found that I have not violated any of the rules.

Sorry to disagree. The birth of the Catholic Church came with the institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. The “breaking of the bread” by the earliest Catholics was the receipt of the Holy Eucharist as we know it today.

NDFan you are too intelligent to believe the Constantine slur or that there were "other Christians"in hiding for the first 1500 years. That sounds like "trail of Blood"Baptist nonsense which even most Baptists believe is bogus.

I have brought this to the forum administrators attention and have asked him/her to advise you.I don’t use the terms prod, prodie, nor fundie which I also find offensive and I’m asking for the same consideration from you.
Are you aware that for some the term Protestant is offensive. Yet you encourage Elvis to be offensive.

It is however quite accurate.Protesting Catholics, simply put.
I endeavour to use non-Catholic Christian,or separated brethren for the very reason you state but have used the term Protestant ocassionally as it is an accurate descriptor.

The term Protestant is used by many Protestants. Those non-Catholic Christians who find it distasteful or refuse to use it seem to me to be more fundamentalist than “mainline” It seems to be a sticking point with them as it obviously cedes and points to the pecedence of the Catholic Church from which they and all others except the orthodox have denominated from.

So is the term Roman Catholic

Many nonDenomination Christians are not protesting Catholicism.

I encourage no one to be offensive. So you find his use of colour irritating.Big hairy deal.Does that give you license to insult Catholics using terms which we advised you are insulting? You seem to think so,and again,it is VERY revealing. It was you who started this little tempest in a teapot by insisting that if Elvis would not kowtow to your silly demand you were perfectly entitled to use terminology that Catholics are offended by.Juvenile,to say the very least.

By your very existence you are.If not for the Catholic Church you would not even be Christian as there would be no Christianity.

Also having read your posts I find your assertion quite risible and amusing as YOU seem to be protesting against Catholicism quite vehemently.Much more than the average Lutheran,Anglican,Presbyterian, etc. Most Fundamentalists who post here are the most protesting non-Catholic Christians I’ve ever run across.

The person of Christ is what has brought Christianity into existence; no church ever brought anything into existence; this is the work of the God of the Bible.

I went to get back to the OP.
You have demonstrated that it is OK for you to insult but are super thinned skin when others respond. Get over it and lets get back on topic.
