That’s okay, the only reason I know is I happened to read about it yesterday. 😏

And now he’s changing the subject altogether (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.) (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.) (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

I’m pretty sure your brother doesn’t want people to see what he is privately texting you.

You’re not going to convince him. You can simply put down your phone. You don’t have to engage.

I’m letting my pride get the better of me again and I’m going to tell him to stop or I’ll stop speaking to him

Tell him to stop; and if he doesn’t, block him. This stuff is just too stupid. If he really believes it – which I doubt – then all you can do is pray for him.

He just said that these 2 men “ Arthur Thomas Nelson/ Wayne a meeks , authors of RSV Bible” are the authors of the Catholic bible
Furthermore, the RSV translation was originally a protestant or ecumenical translation to begin with. It is NOT a “Catholic translation.”

Now, there is a RSV-CE and RSV-2CE versions of the translation that are approved for Catholic use, but the RSV translation was not translated by the Catholic Church.

Also the first translation in English was not the King James. The New Testament of Douay-Rheims Bible was translated and published in 1582, and the Old Testament was published & released in two volumes in 1609 (Genesis - Job) and 1610 (Psalms to 2 Machabees). So by 1610, the entire Old Testament was published.

The work on the King James Bible began in 1604 (22 years after the Douay-Rheims New Testament was published) was published in 1611 (a year after the entire Douay-Rheims was published).

Furthermore, the Douay-Rheims was translated at the English College - which was part of the University of Douai in France.

** The Catholic Church finally agreed on which writings should go into the Bible at the Council of Rome in 382 AD during the time of Pope Damasus.**
  • Damasus encouraged St. Jerome to translate the Scriptures into Latin since Latin was the common language of all educated people.
  • Throughout the Middle Ages, portions of the Scriptures were translated into vernacular languages.
  • In the mid-1400s, the Bible started to be translated into European languages more widely.
  • In the 16th century, some Reformers published Bibles with bits missing, faulty translation work, and subversive notes.
  • The authorities tried to regulate which Bibles were acceptable in order to control erroneous teaching.
  • Throughout the years, the Catholic Church encouraged Bible reading, but kept control of the interpretation of the Bible as part of the Church’s inspired authority to teach the truth and preserve the unity of the Church.
  • Pope Leo XIII published a letter in 1893 encouraging Bible study.
  • Pius XII in 1943 also encouraged the faithful to study and love the Bible.
  • The second Vatican Council in the 1960s encouraged all the clergy and people to study the Bible faithfully.

I cut him off so now he’s targeting my brothers and sisters they’re calling me up they think I know all the answers asking me “why do they sing about the devil in the Vatican” “Michael is saying this Michael is saying that” so it’s hard for me to ignore since he’s filling my younger siblings with the lies and they keep calling me asking me for the answers

Satan always copies what is God’s or imitate what is God’s and twist and to deceive children of God ,there is also children of satan wicked people as in 1 John 3:10 The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way: all who do not do what is right are not from God, nor are those who do not love their brothers and sisters. so nothing surprising

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Acts 13:10 “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?

First Mass by Jesus ,The Institution of the Lord’s Supper

Matthew 26:26 While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” 27 Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will never again drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Black Masses are mockeries of our mass performed by Satanists, not masses done by the Church…

Rosie11:
First thing is:
Jesus is the word made flesh. The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ. Christ is the source and summit of revelation. So the bible has to be considered in that context.
When you consider the bible, consider Christ.

Who is Christ? God made flesh. Incarnate God who assumed full human nature and came into history at a time and place and among a people. Where is the bible in this?

Christ lives, dies and rises, and still no New Testament. Where is the bible in this? These are not rhetorical questions. We need to put the bible in this context of Christ’s life.

Christ ascends. People are left behind. For decades! Where is the New Testament? It is not written yet. Where is it?

In the hearts and minds of the community Christ founded, Christ’s Body, The Church. That’s where the bible comes from and still lives. The KJ bible is one translation of the scriptures that live fully within The Church.

Christ does not reveal the bible, the bible reveals Christ.

A black mass is when devil worshipers mimic the Catholic mass and often use consecrated hosts that they stole from a Catholic Church.

The black mass was/is NEVER celebrated by Catholics… only devil worshipers.

Really, you and your siblings need to tell him that if he can’t ask a serious question, none of you are going to waste your time. And then stick to it. When he doesn’t get a rise out of anybody, he’ll get tired of the game.
