I’m starting to get into circuit bending keyboards (it’s nerdy I know) but problem is they don’t always come cheap. eBay has some pretty awesome ones but they can be very cheap. So cheap in fact that I feel bad if I were to buy this one I really like. What do you think? When does a good deal literally become a steal?

It doesn’t…

As long as it is theirs and they are willingly selling it there is no problem, even if they are selling a genuine Rolex for $20

Well sure but what if the bid is about to end and it’s still super low it really just doesnt seem right maybe it’s just my OCD. But they starting bid isn’t intended to be the final price it’s meant to be a starting point. It just seems like it’s wrong.

They entered into it with the knowledge that they may only get the minimum bid

When you suspect that the reason the price is so low is that you’re buying stolen property.

My starting price on eBay is the minimum I’ll take. If I get that, then good and if I get more than that, then yay! It’s a bad economy. So what you can afford can be what they need for their rent. If you let this kind of scrupulosity stop you, they get less. Maybe nothing. Don’t worry, bid what you can afford. And pray for them.
