Hi,

I wanted to ask a legal question. When does a human being gain the legal right to choose whether they want to live or not? What does the law say about whether someone has the right to choose whether someone lives or not? Is there any law that says this?

I ask for humility in this thread. Ask Jesus to give each of us humility and mercy, because if we let our emotions go off the hook, we are endangering more lives by allowing our reason to be clouded. We need to reason through the law, not feel our way through it. Mercy and humility are our best weapons against the culture of death, and I know it seems counter-intuitive and impossible, but Jesus is going to tell us exactly how to apply these principles of His love and virtue if we ask Him. We need to show people the beauty of the absolute right to life. People are messed up by the culture of death and don’t know what they are doing.

Hello,

As an answer to your question nobody ever has the right to take his or her life. Only God and the Holy Spirit can decide on the fate of a persons life. If you would like further guidance on this subject, it would be good to talk to a priest,a nun, or any other religious minister. I hope my comment helped figure out your question.

The decision is not theirs. God set a time for them, but it is not for us human beings to know when this happens, nor to arrive early…

Legally, that changes from country to country, from place to place.
But the legality of it is nonsense since only God can decide.

What, exactly, is it you want to know?
The law in your state/province/country?
The differences around the world?
Cannon lawyers will, by necessity, teach God’s truth which is far different from human laws.

Legally, this will point you in the right direction. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_die

Googlefu will be your friend after that.

The same moral principle that applies to taking life in the womb applies to taking life outside the womb. The underlying commandment is “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” That includes taking one’s own life or taking the life of others.
