When does a promise become a requirment?

I told God in a prayer that I would go on Catholic Answers, give at least 100 grains to Freerice.com, and read a chapter of The Bible and my religion book before eating dinner. I did that every day of the week except this Sunday because we went to my Grandparents for dinner and I wasn’t able to get on a computer in time. Did I sin?

If you weren’t able to do it…then no, you didn’t sin. In any case I’m not sure that you would have sinned even if you had chosen not to do these things. A promise is not a vow.
It may make a difference why you made this promise, and whether you considered any limitations on it. If you aren’t certain then I would advise talking this over with your priest, or someone else who’s judgment you trust. .
