It ends on Holy Thursday evening at the beginning of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper. The Holy Thursday Mass ushers in the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday), which is a liturgical season in its own right and the shortest of the Church’s liturgical year. Easter begins with the Easter Vigil.
