Not until after the Easter Vigil. We are still very much in a penitential season until the beginning of the Vigil.thanks so does that mean i can start playing video games again as that is what i gave up?

- Lent runs from Ash Wednesday until the Mass of the Lord’s Supper exclusive.
Obviously the original post is from a young person who just wanted a simple answer.while you’re in the mood for making things up just end it when you want.
They probably are assuming that Lent doesn’t into Holy Week. Why are people telling me right now that Lent ends on Palm Sunday?
That depends on you. Given up something for Lent is a private devotion.thanks so does that mean i can start playing video games again as that is what i gave up?
I agree with this. It has always been my understanding that Lent ends at the Supper. Then we begin the Tridium and The Easter Octave begins on Easter Sunday. Am I spelling tridium right? I think my spell check isn’t Catholic. That depends on you. Given up something for Lent is a private devotion.

Certainly not. Traditionally, I think before Vatican II in fact, the Lenten season did not end until the Easter Vigil, so the last day of Lent was in fact Holy Saturday. A lot of people still hold their Lenten regulations through Holy Saturday.By “the Supper” I am assuming you mean the mass of the Lord’s supper on Holy Thursday? I’d always thought Lent ended on Easter Sunday! Thanks Although it can’t hurt to continue fasting with prayer for a couple more days, right?
