We all felt bad because we hadn’t meant any harm. I often wonder if that sister stayed in the order.
I think we should respect her privacy ,at times the situation could be of pain or trauma because of a death of a father ,financial problems or just a fight in the family, has caused the person to join the religious life ,though at times they might not have had a vocation early on ,but later by God Grace found their vocation in there journey of discernment ,and become a wonderful priest or a Nun sister,so lets give her a benefit of doubt there.
God works in strangest’s of ways .i member a man in his early 30’s who was ditched by a women at the last moment and she married some one else, later found his vocation to the priesthood ,he has become an excellent priest indeed!.and another middle aged nun who found her vocation, while she was a teen ,she was sweeping the floor of her house when a strong wind swept by and a piece of paper got stuck in her hand ,actually it was a prayer and it was a psalm which i found it 10 years later ,but by God Grace, i remembered the words he bowed the heavens ,in humility to take her as his bride ,she had the piece of paper in a clear sheet in her bible which brought tears to my eyes.
Psalm 18: 9 He bowed the heavens, and came down;thick darkness was under his feet.10 He rode on a cherub, and flew;he came swiftly upon the wings of the wind11 He made darkness his covering around him,his canopy thick clouds dark with water.12 Out of the brightness before him there broke through his clouds hail stones and coals of fire. She counselled me few times when i was an alter server which influenced my life later on in life.
As for me i was a alter server right from my 4th grade till my graduation, daily Mass ,so petty close to the alter and hearing the sermons of priest did influence me.It was through several dreams and personal aliments and miraculous healing in childhood brought me close to God.its pretty private and some dreams yet to be fulfilled so i am keeping it personal.God Bless
