When is a Catholic woman no longer married?

Is it when they’re divorced or at a certain stage in the annulment process, such as when the annulment completion has been notified to the applicant?

Can. 1060 Marriage possesses the favor of law; therefore, in a case of doubt, the validity of a marriage must be upheld until the contrary is proven.

Can. 1107 Even if a marriage was entered into invalidly by reason of an impediment or a defect of form, the consent given is presumed to persist until its revocation is established.

A person is presumed validly married until proven otherwise. The “proven otherwise” would be a decree from a tribunal. Therefore someone is presumed validly (if not happily) married until a tribunal has determined otherwise.

The only other possibility would be the death of the former spouse.
