What are the beliefs that an organization must adhere to in order to be considered Christian?
And why?
And why?
Short answer- Jesus Christ must be correctly identified in order for me to take people seriously who call themselves Christians. There is more to it than that, but that’s the first thing I look at.What are the beliefs that an organization must adhere to in order to be considered Christian?

Is this taught in the Catechism anywhere, or is this your opinion? The moment a person denies the need of the real presence of Yeshua’s literal Body and Blood in the communion act they are no longer a christian and an absolute enemy of truth.
The Blasphemy of the Holy Sprit.
I tend to agree with this, but to be honest I am not totally sure why.Short answer- Jesus Christ must be correctly identified in order for me to take people seriously who call themselves Christians. There is more to it than that, but that’s the first thing I look at.
Some of the criteria for calling it a “correct identification” of Jesus include the following: You can’t deny the Trinity, you can’t deny the hypostatic union, you can’t deny Jesus’ eternal existence. There’s probably a few more, but those are the basics. If you deny these things, you show that you know the name of Jesus but you don’t know who He really is.
As I understand it, the Catholic Church teaches that all are saved through the Church. That doesn’t mean that those who are members of other churches are not saved. They are saved through (by means of) the Church that Jesus founded (Catholic). If they are Baptist, for instance, and serve the Lord in the best way they understand Him, they will be saved. So this is a little different than saying that all non-Catholics are bound for Hell.

Re: When is a Christian organization Not Christian
‘Another thought. There are some denominations that claim that only their church members are saved. When you hear that, be cautious. Often their dogmatic position isn’t based on Scripture or the teachings of the early church fathers.’"
This is exactly the teaching of the Catholic Church. Though there is a loophole for non-Catholics, according to the catechism.
Of course, as a Catholic myself, I don’t consider it a “denomination,” but the original and one and only Christian institution that has been around since the beginning and started by Jesus and he Apostles…

First you must recognize that we are all sinners (Rom 3:23) and that the wages of sin are death (Rom 6:23). Once this is realized, you can understand why you need a savior for no work alone can warrant salvation. Then belief, repent, and be baptized. What are the beliefs that an organization must adhere to in order to be considered Christian?

Wow, nicely said, though it won’t win any converts. LOLThe moment a person denies the need of the real presence of Yeshua’s literal Body and Blood in the communion act they are no longer a christian and an absolute enemy of truth.

You realize what this is saying is that the Catholic church believes that Baptists like Charles Colson and Billy Graham as well as Assembly of God like myself are Not Christian and have committed Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.Wow, nicely said, though it won’t win any converts. LOL
That is definitely not what the Catholic Church teaches. As a matter of fact, the Church teaches that even Jews and Muslims can go to heaven. So if it teaches that, I’m pretty sure Billy Graham and Charles Colson would qualify. You realize what this is saying is that the Catholic church believes that Baptists like Charles Colson and Billy Graham as well as Assembly of God like myself are Not Christian and have committed Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Could you please document where the Catholic church teaches this.
If you can’t document this, I:have no choice but to believe you all are performing some private interpretation.
I agree with most of these. When they tell you to drink a cup of kool aid.
When they tell you to protest at funerals of people who you think are sinful.
When they want you to hate people, and kill them.
When they want to see your tax statements to prove your tithing the right amount
I guess the list could get pretty long.
