When is a Sunday Mass a Sunday Mass?

I need help. I just want to know if you go to a different Mass, say praying for the dead on a Sunday, is it considered a Sunday Mass?
 
A Mass that is said on Saturday evening in anticipation of Sunday and on Sunday itself is a Sunday Mass and satisfies the Sunday Mass obligation. Indeed, any eucharistic liturgy said in the Catholic Church on Saturday evening or Sunday (including the divine liturgy of the Eastern rites of the Church) counts as fulfilling the Sunday obligation.
