When is it alright to date while still married?

Dear Apologist,
A Catholic woman is currently married in the Church to a wealthy Jewish man with BiPolar Disorder. Over many years, he has become violent sporadically and they have agreed to separate. He is financially supporting her now, with her consent, at a separate residence, & there is no direct talk of divorce. Under what conditions is it alright for the woman to begin seeing other men, considering that her husband is unaware?
 
Dear friend,

You just wrote that the woman is married. At NO time is a married woman allowed to date a man to whom she is not married. Should she divorce him and is able to have the marriage annulled, then and then only may she date. Marriage means something!
