I think I get what you’re driving at, but what constitutes proselytizing?
Is one “side” allowed to talk freely while the other “side” has to speak in whispers while looking over their shoulder?

In general, discussing politics, religion and sex at work are all big no no’s.
And for very good reason .

You need to use your judgement and be ready to shoulder the consequences.

You are only bound to fraternal correction if there is a sufficient reason to believe what you say will change his mind.

But are you allowed to proselytize at work?
Pope Francis talked about proselytizing v evangelizing. How does he identify it?

Key: tactics to avoid,
Deception, Force, coercion, emotional manipulation, threats, bribery,
Don’t Violate free choice, using motives contrary to the spirit of the Gospel;

If one doesn’t use the above tactics they are NOT proselytizing

What you can do, when the situation arises, is ask questions that seek to get the person in question to reflect on the veracity of their own thought processes and prejudices. Bold statements and confrontation are not always appropriate, especially when it may be possible to get that person to in effect, ‘confront themselves’.
