I recommend you read the Army manual on the subject – multiple shooters are used to ensure at least one bullet kills the condemned man cleanly.My reasoning? Here’s an example…In firing squads for example…when one is being put to death, or has been put to death…they have 6 or 8 men fire at the criminal, so as no one shooter feels that his bullet was the mortally wounding one.
