So it turns out that the contact lenses THEMSELVES had deteriorated, possibly from bad manufacture. This in turn injured my corneas and was why I could not see. Fortunately there will not be any lasting damage and after another week or so I should be fine, plus with new lenses. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support, and please know that I have been praying for all of you as well.

Thanks Gail! I am really lucky that I did not have any worse damage. I am very grateful to you and everyone who prayed for me and for my tooth pain before that! It’s been a fun few weeks as you can imagine. But the end result has been really wonderful in many respects, most importantly spiritually. I hope I can continue on this path.
