Actually, in a weird way it is all fascinating. If you read how viruses change and mutate, it would be interesting to you also. Even before I was a Christian, I found how nature works and the whole balance of life to be pretty amazing.
I should warn you that I don’t find death frightening. No, I don’t want to die now or have anyone that I love die. But I accept that physical death happens. Death is not evil, it is a part of our existence and we go on to eternal life.

It seems that your prophet flew to the heavens while riding upon what is called a Buraq.
Wikipedia describes a Buraq as;
“The Buraq is an angelic winged horse, often represented as a milk-white winged four-legged creature with the head of a woman.[1] In some folk paintings and tattoos it is represented as a mare, a female horse”

as soon as you start saying ‘why don’t we have this’, ‘why don’t we have that’ you end up asking for paradise. Why do i have to die, why can’t i drink as much as i want, why do i twist my ankle, etc etc.
Surely God could just sort of fix it so i can drink as much as i want and always have a good liver, and never cause car accidents etc etc.
We turn God into our maid and slave by this type of thinking. If we are to evolve, it has to be our story as a race and our decisions. Otherwise we’d be a bunch of fat, ungrateful spoiled brats. From God’s perspective - is that what he wants ?
You talk about germs and bacteria but yet it was Louis Patuer who against the atheist reasoning of the day assumed (through his Christianity) that only God can create life and so, when presented with disease, summised tiny bacteria and germs and then went and found them and then founded pharmaceuticals which went on and has saved millions of peoples lives on the planet - probably including yours and mine and everybody elses’ on this forum.
Louis could never understand (like Isaac Newton and basically all the founders of the different sciences) why people did not see the advance of science as a proof for the existance of God. Isaac Newton who told us all about equal and opposite forces and the universality of a set of Laws based on mathematics actually wrote in his first Prncipia that he hoped his discoveries (he basically founded physics) would help all intelligent people to see his new science as a proof for the existance of God. Basically he figured if God made laws of nature and he was universal and intelligent so should the laws of nature by universal and intelligible. If you are an atheist, you wouldn’t have that reasoning to begin with, although because of its obvious correctness it has now been adapted by them. what is funny is that they even try to claim it is their exclusive way of thinking - pretty absurd really.
Atheists try to turn around our western science’s philosophy 180 degrees these days - but then they have had nowhere near the success as Christians have had in founding our sciences.
They don’t found our sciences. They try to explain them through a materialist philosophy.

I guess the only thing for me to do is leave the church. What else can I do? I don’t believe Jesus is God, that any Pope is infallible, that the catholic church has the right to make all these laws in the cannon, or even that the bible is unchanged… I just dont see it anymore.
I feel like it was all a masquerade and I finally took the mask off and saw the real thing. Maybe I never really thought about it before until these last few years. My soul has been searching for the truth and I just don’t see it in the church. How ironic that I have received all the sacraments and now I woke up to what they mean.
Yes I can still go to church and go threw the motions of it all, I went to confession today. Even tho I was not supposed to. I dont feel any priest can tell me I cannot. I guess I will just go through the motions until I figure all this out.

I don’t know what to tell you. I went through a period of searching as a young woman that was painful but probably something that I needed.
Your other thread has confused me as to the very little that you were taught about your faith.
You’re the only Christian, much less Catholic, that I have ever met that didn’t know that Jesus was God.Ask questions here. You seem to be giving up without trying to find the answers first. There are many faiths represented on this forum, atheists, Muslims, LDS, Pagans and Catholics.

Most of the posts that I have seen from Muslim Woman have been very polite. I might not follow her faith but I don’t see the purpose in mocking her. Why not be polite? We can all have polite debates; Muslim, atheist and Christian.

**Yes, Not Afraid, We Muslims believe that. It was a vision, meaning a " True dream". It was not a material, physical journey. It was a spiritual jouney which transported our prophet to endless spiritual heights, to the realm of the unseen. So, will you please think on that line, kindly.
Our prophet led all the previous prophets in a prayer too. And later he visited all the previous prophets in various levels of (skies) Heavens, even saw John the Baptist and Jesus together on fourth sky.

Jastor may be some socially awkward kid from the 'burbs. Those with low self esteem: fat chicks, social rejects, those with no faith are prone to fall victim to cults. Hence the reason they fall into the trap of islam and become fully indoctrined into it.
