Haha, might sound silly, but make up a tune on the piano ,spend time in the garden and with pets.Pray while I’m at it.If I’m real low I find it hard to be with friends because I don’t want them to have to see me like that. When I’m feeling somewhat better I’ll go and have a cuppa with them.

Thank God that it isn’t worse!

Some days, some periods of life are very difficult to endure.
If I take best care of our sleep and eating healthy foods, I have a better chance of dealing with these painful times and moods. It helps too, if I’m kind, even in little ways.
It also helps to think of the good things in my life, and that God has given us, (even if I still feel everything is hard), and to praise and thank God for the blessings.

God bless you too. May He help you in times of trouble.

I squeeze those lemons into a beer. But just one or two. In the summer, I usually buy beer with lemon already in it, like a radler or a shandy - that way, I’m covered.

First I would probably cry. Then I would pick myself up, go up to the stables, where I keep my horse and ride until what ever was bothering me is left behind . We all have days like that, it’s part of life. but God gives us the grace to deal with it. God Bless:🦋🦋

“Patient endurance attaineth to all things.”

You can grow stronger on dark days…

Me? Some days are more thick with pain than others. I tuck up in bed, warm and snug and knit and the work sells to feed abandoned babies in Nepal.
Turn the darkness into LIGHT

  1. Get a hot shower
  2. Put on something comfortable
  3. Grab a book that’s an old favorite
  4. Get under the covers of my bed and prop the pillows just so.
  5. Say an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.
  6. Read until I fall asleep

What do you do when you’re having a sh**ty day?

Gb ✝️
Well, I’ve been having a bad day. So basically, it was try to resolve the issue. When that didn’t happen right away, I stewed awhile (gets the thought juices flowing) and then unplugged my modem. When I plugged it back in, most of my problems were solved and the one that still isn’t, will hopefully, be tomorrow. If not, I’m going to be very nervous since in this instance, time is of the essence.

My philosophy is that I’m not allowed to have a “zero” day. Even if it’s a terrible day, I try to do at least one thing that moves me a little further along one of my goals. So, like, right now I’m learning Japanese and when I feel down or I’ve had a bad day I sit down and copy out at least one sheet in my kanji workbook and one sheet in my grammatical workbook, or I take a walk and add a thousand steps to my Fitbit goal. Just something that, at the end of the day, I can say 'Well, most of today was a wash, but I at least did this one thing. Tomorrow will be better."

Also, doing something nice for another person helps. The tendency when having a bad day is to ruminate on it and thinking about another person helps to get you out of that self-ruminating cycle.

Only thing to do when life gives you lemons - find the salt shaker and a bottle of Tequila!
