When people homeless beg for money on the street corner, how often do you give them money?

I got asked for money three times outside the Walmart store the other day. Two times were from the same person. I ended up having to say no because I am so poor myself. The sad part is I have seen so many hiring signs in and around the Walmart that day and in My hometown that if they wanted money and were willing to work someone would pick them up.
Homeless cannot get a job unless they have an address. If your city has a McRest program they can help

We are sinful more or less if they are still homeless.
We are unwise, because sooner or later the street homeless would get serious illness and it costs 100K+ for treatment of each of them. It is tax revenue for education; etc.
We are unwise, because tax revenue goes to needless healthcare instead of the homeless shelters as prevention of sickness.

Sins made our society growing much slower like a punishment!

It is better for them to live in FEMA camps and it is not cheap. We can help them from there after sorting out the misfortunated ones. The main reason against FEMA camps is drug trade.

From FEMA camps they can apply scholarships, grants from schools or get jobs easier.

It is more easily for us to evangelize, convert, and bring back life to those deeply in sins
and the great part is our souls are sinless to the homeless matter.

L.A. city has been raising 1.2 billions bonds to build 10,000 units for the homeless since May. Sound great, but at least 35,000 homeless would left behind for the present public shelters which sanitation is a serious problem that the homeless found better outdoor to sleep. Social service can not find homes for all of them.

This will not solve the problem once for all in L.A., unless they can build 40k apt or less instead of 120k per luxury unit for 30,000 homeless among 45-65k permanent ones. Frankly a 10k unit is already the glory place for the misfortunated homeless, 120k is too far beyond their need. Frugality but not greed!

Let’s pray for the L.A. city changes for better way.

In Seattle, the homeless camp along the freeway. A group of them recently started a fire, not a campfire, a real fire that burnt out a decent sized chunk of land. I figured that would inspire police to push out the other tents along the road, but no such luck. The fire department just came out and put out the fire. That was that. There are still tents everywhere. You can see people changing clothes, getting stoned, etc. as you drive past. Sometimes they even have dressers, armchairs, etc.

I rarely give money directly to homeless persons; I think it is better to go through charities. Most American cities have basic resources to help, especially in wealthier areas. I have volunteered at food banks where they have to throw the food away because it spoils before they can give it away - especially produce, bread, perishable items. People only take what they want; they turn down a lot of stuff.
