When was the last sabbath?

One could simply say “the sabbath of the death of our Lord”. But in the book of Acts later sabbaths are also mentioned. For example, Acts 16. But could it be it is simply a more poetic way to say "the seventh day, and not a truely valid sabbath of the old law?

There’s a Sabbath every Saturday. At least that’s how I’ve always thought of it. We just celebrate on Sunday because that’s the Messiah’s Resurrection.
