Hi.
I always wondered when apostles were baptised. It is obvious that it happened sometime between
I personally think it happend after Jesus´ baptism by John the Baptist. That Jesus then baptised His apostles so that they could baptised too. (John 3,22, 4,1-2)
And yet, I am still wondering. Baptism means to be freed from sin when Christ died on the cross and destroyed the death and it means the ressurection with Christ to the new life of God´s children. I mean that the baptism is for the forgiveness of sin and it was fulfilled by the death and resurection of Christ.
Does it mean that when disciples were baptised and then they baptised others in Judea as it is described in John 3,22 and 4,1-2 that this baptism is different from when disciples baptised after Pentecost? I don´t think so, eventhough I can´t explain why I think so.

- Jesus chose twelve to be His disciples (Mk 1, 16-20) and
- Jesus sent them to the whole world to preach evangelium and baptise in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Mk 16, 15-16).
