What do orthodox and oriental users do when they happen to miss Sunday Morning Divine Liturgy?

When I’m not attending the Liturgy I say prayers in the icon corner at home.

I get permission to say matins at home.
Or I go to a later Roman Rite liturgy. (During the summer, there’s one at 20:00hrs just down the road. During the winter, 19:00hrs.)

Ah yeah. I guess my question is for Orthodox who do not have the option?
Sometimes I miss liturgy and I just opt out from going to one of the several RC masses in the area, because it’s just a circus. So I’m curious how our Orthodox brothers handle this without evening masses available.

Saturday Evening Great Vespers fills the “obligation” so if one knows they will miss Sunday they can go to this. Really even if they are attending Sunday they should go to Great Vespers.Sometimes I miss liturgy and I just opt out from going to one of the several RC masses in the area, because it’s just a circus. Sad part is Vespers is not available everywhere.Saturday Evening Great Vespers fills the “obligation” so if one knows they will miss Sunday they can go to this. Really even if they are attending Sunday they should go to Great Vespers.

And if that is the case and one misses the Divine Liturgy they should see if they can make it to any other Catholic Church for the Liturgy.Sad part is Vespers is not available everywhere.
Its part of what makes us Catholic, the communion of Churches.

First I’d confess my sin as soon as possible
2nd: I’d look for any catholic church so that I have a schedule where I can go so as not to sin again. I have every nearby catholic church, their full schedules so if I miss one, there is another.
3rd: www.ustream.tv/channel/holy-ghost-church (McKees Rocks, PA) live streams the Liturgy Sat 4 PM, Sun 9 AM and it is archived. Though I believe I-net services are not valid unless you are an invalid, its still better than nothing.
